Nice to meet you all!
My name is Takuma Sakamoto, and I work at Sakamoto Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of ZENCOCORO.
Thankfully, we have received many orders.
I've been late in posting to my blog.
I will be talking about things that I was not able to cover on the product page on my blog from now on.
Do you know what incense is made from?
In fact, the law says that you can put anything in it .
As fragrances , petroleum-based fragrances such as benzene,
The ingredients used are designated as specific narcotic psychotropic drug ingredients .
As an ingredient to solidify incense, a gelling agent used in compresses ,
Sometimes cow dung is used.
Even if it says "sandalwood scent," it doesn't contain sandalwood.
Even if it says "natural fragrances used," the other ingredients are a mystery...
There are also many examples like this.
The above is not an exceptional case,
This is a very common practice with commercially available incense and joss sticks.
In fact, synthetic fragrances tend to smell better.
Using a gelling agent will result in a stronger incense that will bend less.
This allows us to produce products that are cheap and stable.
But...
We make incense using only natural fragrances, natural ingredients, and food additives.
All materials used are disclosed.
We are creating products that are tedious and time-consuming, going against the trend of the world.
Why is that?
I'll write about that in my next blog.
Thank you for reading!
